Betere app-voorbeelden op het scherm Recent
Het scherm Recent toont apps nu zoals ze worden weergegeven nadat je ze hebt geopend. Je kunt eenvoudig zien of een app in gesplitst scherm, volledig scherm of als pop-up is geopend.

Eenvoudig schakelen tussen pop-upweergave en gesplitst scherm
Houd de balk boven aan het pop-upvenster ingedrukt en sleep de app naar de kant van het scherm waarin je deze wilt laten weergeven.

Pop-ups herstellen die aan de rand van het scherm zijn vastgezet
Sleep een app in pop-upweergave naar de rand van het scherm om deze aan de rand vast te zetten en uit de weg te houden. Als je de app weer nodig hebt, tik je op een willekeurige plaats op de pop-up om deze terug te zetten op de vorige locatie.

Controleer geminimaliseerde apps met de S Pen
Houd je S Pen boven een zwevend app-pictogram om een voorbeeld te zien van hoe de app eruit zal zien als je deze opent.



Taakbalk

Meer recente apps
Je kunt nu kiezen hoeveel onlangs gebruikte apps je op de taakbalk wilt weergeven (maximaal 4).

Eenvoudigere navigatie
Als er minder dan 8 pictogrammen op de taakbalk worden weergegeven, wordt het navigatiegebied automatisch verkleind, zodat er meer ruimte is voor de navigatieknoppen.



Flexstand

Gebruik het venster Flexstand met meer apps
Er kunnen nu meer apps worden gebruikt in combinatie met het venster Flexstand. Wanneer het venster Flexstand is ingeschakeld, vouw je je telefoon rechtop en tik je op de knop die op de navigatiebalk verschijnt.

Verbeterde mediacontrols
Op het venster Flexstand zijn nu knoppen om 10 seconden vooruit en achteruit te gaan beschikbaar. Als je de tijdbalk aanraakt, wordt de tijd getoond waar je naartoe verspringt, zodat je het juiste moment kunt vinden.

De werkbalk aanpassen
Maak je eigen persoonlijke lay-out om snel toegang te krijgen tot functies zoals gesplitste schermweergave, schermafbeelding en meer. Raak een pictogram op de werkbalk van het venster Flexstand aan en houd het vast om de pictogrammen in een andere volgorde te zetten of pictogrammen in of uit de werkbalk te verplaatsen.



Quick Share

Delen met contacten
Je kunt nu op elk moment bestanden naar je contactpersonen sturen, zelfs als ze niet bij je in de buurt zijn.

Bestanden privé delen
Bescherm privé-inhoud wanneer je deze deelt. Je kunt vervaldatums instellen voor de bestanden die je verstuurt, delen op elk moment annuleren en voorkomen dat ontvangers bestanden opslaan of opnieuw delen.

Verbeterde slaapcoaching

Verbeterde Flexstand-lay-out voor de PRO-standen
Als je je telefoon rechtop vouwt, verschijnen de handmatige instellingen voor de Pro-stand en de stand Professionele video aan de onderkant van het scherm, zodat je de ISO, sluitertijd en andere instellingen eenvoudig kunt regelen.

Meerdere foto’s in de Opname-weergave selecteren
Als je de Opname-weergave op het hoofdscherm gebruikt, kun je voortaan met ingedrukt houden meerdere foto’s tegelijk selecteren. Als je je selectie hebt gemaakt, kun je ze allemaal tegelijk delen of verwijderen.

Verbeterde remastervoorbeelden
Er worden nu miniatuurafbeeldingen getoond onder de afbeelding die je aan het remasteren bent. Tik op een miniatuur om de geremasterde afbeelding in een grotere weergave te vergelijken met het origineel.

Effecten eenvoudiger toepassen
Filter- en tooneffecten in Galerij maken nu gebruik van een draaiknop in plaats van een schuifknop, zodat het gemakkelijker is om met één hand precieze aanpassingen te doen.

Effecten kopiëren en plakken
Je kunt filters en tonen nu kopiëren en plakken van de ene door jou bewerkte foto naar de andere.



Aanvullende wijzigingen

Slepen en neerzetten met twee handen
Begin met de ene hand met het slepen van bestanden, app-pictogrammen of andere items en gebruik je andere hand om naar de map of locatie te navigeren waarin of waarop je ze wilt neerzetten. Ondersteund in Mijn bestanden en het Startscherm.

Je telefoon blijven gebruiken terwijl je een ander apparaat oplaadt
Open je telefoon met het hoofdscherm naar beneden gericht. Je kun je Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Watch of een ander apparaat opladen met behulp van draadloos batterij delen aan één kant. Tegelijkertijd kun je je telefoon blijven gebruiken met het coverscherm aan de andere kant.

Luister naar Auracast-uitzendingen
Gebruik je telefoon om Auracast-uitzendingen in de buurt te vinden en te beluisteren me je Galaxy Buds2 Pro of andere apparaten die Bluetooth LE Audio ondersteunen.

Houd opslagruimte beschikbaar

Modes and routines

Choose modes based on your activity
Choose a mode based on what you're doing, such as exercising, working, or relaxing, then choose what you want your phone to do in each situation. For example, turn on Do not disturb when you're relaxing or play music when you're driving.

Bedtime mode is now Sleep mode
Sleep mode lets you automate more actions when it's time for bed, like turning on Dark mode and changing the sound mode.

Easier to discover preset routines
A simplified layout makes it easier to find routines that are useful for you.

Check running routines quickly
Routines that are currently running are now shown at the top of the Routines screen so you can understand what's happening and make changes if necessary.

More actions and conditions for your routines
Automatically start routines when you use Airplane mode or Mobile Hotspot. Routines can now open app pairs and adjust the left/right sound balance.



Home screen widgets

Stack widgets on your Home screen
Combine several widgets of the same size into a single widget to save space on your Home screen. Just drag a widget onto another widget to create a stack, then swipe to switch between widgets. You can add more widgets to your stack at any time by dragging and dropping.

Get suggestions on your Home screen
The new Smart suggestions widget knows what you need before you do. It suggests apps to use, people to call, and other useful tips. Suggestions are based on your usage patterns.



Multitasking

Switch your view with a gesture
Switch from full screen to split screen view by swiping upward with two fingers from the bottom of the screen. Switch from full screen to pop-up view by swiping inward with one finger from either corner at the top of the screen. Gestures can be turned on or off in Settings Labs.

Quickly open apps in split screen
Just drag an app from the Recents screen to the side of the screen where you want to open it.



Connected devices


Do more with your connected devices
The Connected devices menu has been added to Settings, making it quicker and easier to access features that work with other devices, like Quick Share, and Smart View.
Hide notifications on your TV
When viewing content from your phone on your TV with Smart View, you can choose to hide notifications on your TV to prevent others from seeing your personal information.



Camera and Gallery

Zoom more easily with one hand
The zoom bar has been condensed so you can zoom in or out farther with a single swipe.

Get help with Pro mode
A help icon will appear in Pro and Pro video modes. Tap the icon to get tips and guidance for using the various lenses, options, and controls.

Add watermarks to your pictures
Automatically add a watermark to each picture containing the date and time a picture was taken, your phone's model name, or other custom information.

Revamped Single take
Single take mode has been simplified and streamlined. Fewer options and shorter recording times make it faster and easier to get great shots.

Choose filters more easily
The filter selection menu has been streamlined in Camera, Photo Editor, and Video Editor. All filters are available in one list, making it easier to find the perfect filter for your picture or video.

Customize albums in Gallery
Choose which albums appear by default and hide less frequently used albums to keep the clutter down. You can also merge albums that have the same name and create albums that automatically update to include pictures of people you select.

All-new look for Stories
Stories that are automatically created in your Gallery have been revamped with an interactive slideshow view. Just tap or swipe to move between pictures and videos in your story.



Photo and Video Editor

Create stickers from any picture
Create reusable stickers from any picture in your gallery. Just select the part of the picture you want to use as a sticker, then adjust the thickness and color of the outlines.

More ways to edit GIFs
You can trim and adjust the ratio of animated GIFs to make them the right size. You can also use the same editing features that are available for still images to decorate your GIF however you like.

Keep portrait mode effects even after editing
Portrait mode effects are now retained even after cropping or changing filters so you can adjust the background blur at any time.

Draw perfect shapes on pictures and videos
Use the pen tool to draw a shape such as a circle, triangle, rectangle, or heart. Hold your finger on the screen when you finish drawing to make it instantly transform to straight lines and perfect angles.

New stickers for photos and videos
60 new preloaded emoji stickers are available for decorating your pictures and videos.



AR Emoji and stickers

New AR Emoji stickers
When you create a new AR Emoji, 15 stickers are created by default giving you more ways to express yourself. If that’s not enough, there are also more AR Emoji stickers available for download so you can always find a sticker to match your emotions.

Do more with AR Emojis
Use transparent backgrounds for AR Emoji stickers, or choose any picture from your Gallery to use as a background for your emoji in AR Emoji Camera. You can also pair up two emojis together and create fun dances and poses.



Samsung Keyboard

New emojis available for emoji pairs
In Samsung Keyboard, more than 80 additional emojis are available for creating an emoji pair. You can now combine emojis based on animals, food, and other objects in addition to facial expressions. Choose the perfect combination to get your feelings across.

Touch and hold the emoji, sticker, and other buttons to rearrange them.

Enter kaomoji directly from Samsung Keyboard

Extract and scan text

Extract text from any image or screen
Extract text using Samsung Keyboard, Internet, Gallery, or whenever you take a screenshot. Paste the result into a message, email, or document instead of typing.

Get suggestions based on text in images
When text appears in an image in Gallery, Camera, or other apps, actions will be recommended based on the text. For example, if you take a picture of a sign with a phone number or web address on it, you can tap to call the number or visit the site.
Text extraction and suggestion features are only supported for English, Korean, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, and Chinese.



Notifications

Get only the notifications you allow
When you use an app for the first time, you’ll be asked whether you want to receive notifications from it. Feel free to say no to apps that you don’t want to disturb you.

Easier access to app notification controls
Is an app sending you too many notifications? It's easier than ever to block it with reorganized notification settings placing app notification controls at the top. You can also go directly to app notification settings using the button at the bottom of the notification panel.

Choose which types of notifications apps can send
You now have separate control over whether apps can show pop-up notifications, app icon badges, and notifications on the Lock screen. Allow all types, some, or none. It's up to you.

New layout for notifications
App icons are larger, making it easier to see which app sent the notification. Text alignment has also been improved to make notifications easier to read.



Settings

Set a language for each app
Want to use some apps in one language and other apps in another? You can now choose which language will be used for each app in Settings.

Set exceptions for Do not disturb
You can now set individual contacts as exceptions to Do not disturb. Your phone will ring or vibrate when the people you choose call and send messages to you, even when Do not disturb is on. It’s also easier to set apps as exceptions so you get notification alerts from them even when Do not disturb is on. Just choose the apps you want to allow from the new grid.

Improved sound and vibration settings
Menus have been reorganized to make it easier to find the sound and vibration options you need. Set your ringtone and change the volume and vibration settings, all in the same place.

Auto optimization
Device care keeps your phone running smoothly by automatically performing optimizations in the background. To keep your phone in the best condition, you can set your phone to automatically restart when needed.



Security and privacy

Check your phone’s security status at a glance
The new Security dashboard in Settings shows whether your phone has any security issues and helps you fix them quickly.

Security and privacy information for websites
An icon will appear in the address bar in Samsung Internet to show a site's security status. Tap the icon to learn which information the website collects and tracks.



Accessibility

More accessibility options in the quick panel
High contrast font, Color inversion, Color adjustment, and Color filter can be added to the quick panel for easier access.

Magnifier is easier to access
Turn on the Magnifier shortcut in Accessibility settings to get quick access to the Magnifier feature. Magnifier uses your phone's camera to enlarge items in the real world so you can take a closer look or make them easier to read.

More spoken assistance
Choose from various types of voice feedback to get help using your phone even if you can't see the screen clearly. You can make your phone read out keyboard input so you can be sure you typed the correct letter, use Bixby Vision to recognize nearby objects and tell you what they are, and turn on audio descriptions that explain what's happening in a video (only for supported videos).

Easily edit your Accessibility button
Tap and hold the Accessibility button to quickly change the features you can access using the button.

New actions available for Corner actions
If you're using a mouse or trackpad, new actions are available when you move the mouse pointer to one of the 4 corners of the screen. You can now click and hold, drag, or drag and drop.



Additional changes

Use several timers at once
You can now start a new timer in the Clock app even if another timer is still running.

More control over calendar event invitees
When you add an event to your Google calendar in the Samsung Calendar app, you can choose whether invitees are allowed to see who else is invited to the event and also choose whether they can invite other people.

Add video conferences to your events
When you create a Google calendar event in the Samsung Calendar app, you can set up a video conference at the same time. Everyone invited to your event will receive the link to the video conference.

Add stickers to your Google calendar
Add stickers to Google calendar events in the Samsung Calendar app to make them easy to see at a glance. Stickers are shown in both calendar and agenda views.

Stay on top of reminders due today
The new Today category shows only reminders due today. You can also check reminders due today at the top of the main screen in the Reminder app.

Show and hide completed reminders
You can show or hide the completed reminders in any category. Show to see what you've already done, or hide to stay focused on things you still need to finish.

Choose the right view for your reminders
Choose the simple view to show more reminders on the screen at once or an expanded view that includes details such as the due date and repeating conditions.

Drag and drop bookmarks between folders
Keep your Samsung Internet bookmarks organized by dragging and dropping them between folders.

More powerful search in My Files
Choose whether to search all files or only files in the current folder. You can also choose between searching only file names or searching information inside of files, such as text in documents or location information in images. When your search is complete, you can sort the results by name, date, size, or file type.

Redesigned Digital Wellbeing
The new dashboard provides clearer usage details and makes it easier to access the features you need, such as app timers and screen time reports.

Get help in an emergency
Quickly press the Side key 5 times to call emergency services even if your phone is in your pocket or you aren't able to talk.

Integrated emergency contact list
Create an emergency contact list that includes the people you want to contact in case of an emergency. The same contact list can be used for emergency features on both your watch and your phone.

Show app names in the Apps edge panel
Turn on Show app names to make app names appear below the app icons.

Als u naar boven veegt tijdens het bekijken van een foto of video in uw Galerij, krijgt u te zien waar en wanneer de foto is genomen, met welk apparaat de foto is genomen, waar de foto is opgeslagen, en meer. Nu met een eenvoudigere lay-out.


Multitasken

Eenvoudig minimaliseren of overschakelen naar volledig scherm
U kunt een appvenster nu minimaliseren of maximaliseren zonder dat u naar het optiemenu hoeft te gaan. Versleep gewoon een van de hoeken.

Open uw meest gebruikte apps in gesplitst scherm
Als u gesplitste schermweergave start, zullen uw meest gebruikte apps worden weergegeven onder uw recent gebruikte apps, zodat u sneller de apps kunt vinden die u nodig heeft.

Verbeterd multitasken in DeX
U kunt nu in gesplitste schermweergave de schermverdeler in het midden van het scherm verslepen om het formaat van beide vensters aan te passen. U kunt ook een venster in een van de hoeken plaatsen om een kwart van het scherm te laten vullen.

Snelle toegang tot nuttige informatie
Bekijk bovenin waarschuwingen voor zwaar weer, dagelijkse weeroverzichten en de tijden voor zonsopgang/zonsondergang in de Weer-app. De temperatuurgrafiek geeft nu kleuren weer om de veranderingen in temperatuur gedurende de dag aan te geven.

Regengrafiek per uur
Een grafiek per uur laat nu zien hoeveel regen er op verschillende tijden van de dag is gevallen.

Overzicht in Weer-widget
Een kort overzicht van de huidige weersomstandigheden is nu te zien in de Weer-widget, zodat u weet of het zonnig is, bewolkt is, regent of sneeuwt.


Samsung Internet

Ga door met browsen op een ander apparaat
Als u internet gebruikt op een Galaxy-telefoon of -tablet en de internet-app later opent op een ander Galaxy-apparaat, terwijl u ingelogd bent op hetzelfde Samsung-account, verschijnt er een knop waarmee u de laatste webpagina kunt openen die u op het andere apparaat had gebruikt.

Verbeterd zoeken
Uw zoekopdrachten doorzoeken nu ook de namen van favorieten-mappen en tabbladgroepen. Verbeterde zoeklogica maakt het gemakkelijker om te vinden wat u zoekt, zelfs als uw zoekopdracht onjuist is gespeld.

Controleer het batterijniveau van uw apparaten
De nieuwe Batterij-widget biedt u de mogelijkheid om direct vanaf het Startscherm het batterijniveau van uw apparaten te bekijken. U kunt bekijken wat het batterijniveau is van uw telefoon, Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Watch en andere ondersteunde apparaten.

Choose a mode based on what you're doing, such as exercising, working, or relaxing, then choose what you want your phone to do in each situation. For example, turn on Do not disturb when you're relaxing or play music when you're driving.

Bedtime mode is now Sleep mode
Sleep mode lets you automate more actions when it's time for bed, like turning on Dark mode and changing the sound mode.

Easier to discover preset routines
A simplified layout makes it easier to find routines that are useful for you.

Check running routines quickly
Routines that are currently running are now shown at the top of the Routines screen so you can understand what's happening and make changes if necessary.

More actions and conditions for your routines
Automatically start routines when you use Airplane mode or Mobile Hotspot. Routines can now open app pairs and adjust the left/right sound balance.



Home screen widgets

Stack widgets on your Home screen
Combine several widgets of the same size into a single widget to save space on your Home screen. Just drag a widget onto another widget to create a stack, then swipe to switch between widgets. You can add more widgets to your stack at any time by dragging and dropping.

Get suggestions on your Home screen
The new Smart suggestions widget knows what you need before you do. It suggests apps to use, people to call, and other useful tips. Suggestions are based on your usage patterns.



Multitasking

Switch your view with a gesture
Switch from full screen to split screen view by swiping upward with two fingers from the bottom of the screen. Switch from full screen to pop-up view by swiping inward with one finger from either corner at the top of the screen. Gestures can be turned on or off in Settings Labs.

Quickly open apps in split screen
Just drag an app from the Recents screen to the side of the screen where you want to open it.



Connected devices


Do more with your connected devices
The Connected devices menu has been added to Settings, making it quicker and easier to access features that work with other devices, like Quick Share, and Smart View.

The zoom bar has been condensed so you can zoom in or out farther with a single swipe.

Add watermarks to your pictures
Automatically add a watermark to each picture containing the date and time a picture was taken, your phone's model name, or other custom information.

Single take mode has been simplified and streamlined. Fewer options and shorter recording times make it faster and easier to get great shots.

Customize albums in Gallery
Choose which albums appear by default and hide less frequently used albums to keep the clutter down. You can also merge albums that have the same name and create albums that automatically update to include pictures of people you select.

All-new look for Stories
Stories that are automatically created in your Gallery have been revamped with an interactive slideshow view. Just tap or swipe to move between pictures and videos in your story.

Create stickers from any picture
Create reusable stickers from any picture in your gallery. Just select the part of the picture you want to use as a sticker, then adjust the thickness and color of the outlines.

More ways to edit GIFs
You can trim and adjust the ratio of animated GIFs to make them the right size. You can also use the same editing features that are available for still images to decorate your GIF however you like.

Keep portrait mode effects even after editing
Portrait mode effects are now retained even after cropping or changing filters so you can adjust the background blur at any time.

Draw perfect shapes on pictures and videos
Use the pen tool to draw a shape such as a circle, triangle, rectangle, or heart. Hold your finger on the screen when you finish drawing to make it instantly transform to straight lines and perfect angles.

New stickers for photos and videos
60 new preloaded emoji stickers are available for decorating your pictures and videos.



AR Emoji and stickers

New AR Emoji stickers
When you create a new AR Emoji, 15 stickers are created by default giving you more ways to express yourself. If that’s not enough, there are also more AR Emoji stickers available for download so you can always find a sticker to match your emotions.

Do more with AR Emojis
Use transparent backgrounds for AR Emoji stickers, or choose any picture from your Gallery to use as a background for your emoji in AR Emoji Camera. You can also pair up two emojis together and create fun dances and poses.



Samsung Keyboard

New emojis available for emoji pairs
In Samsung Keyboard, more than 80 additional emojis are available for creating an emoji pair. You can now combine emojis based on animals, food, and other objects in addition to facial expressions. Choose the perfect combination to get your feelings across.

Extract and scan text

Extract text from any image or screen
Extract text using Samsung Keyboard, Internet, Gallery, or whenever you take a screenshot. Paste the result into a message, email, or document instead of typing.

Get suggestions based on text in images
When text appears in an image in Gallery, Camera, or other apps, actions will be recommended based on the text. For example, if you take a picture of a sign with a phone number or web address on it, you can tap to call the number or visit the site.
Text extraction and suggestion features are only supported for English, Korean, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, and Chinese.



Notifications

Get only the notifications you allow
When you use an app for the first time, you’ll be asked whether you want to receive notifications from it. Feel free to say no to apps that you don’t want to disturb you.

Easier access to app notification controls
Is an app sending you too many notifications? It's easier than ever to block it with reorganized notification settings placing app notification controls at the top. You can also go directly to app notification settings using the button at the bottom of the notification panel.

Choose which types of notifications apps can send
You now have separate control over whether apps can show pop-up notifications, app icon badges, and notifications on the Lock screen. Allow all types, some, or none. It's up to you.

New layout for notifications
App icons are larger, making it easier to see which app sent the notification. Text alignment has also been improved to make notifications easier to read.



Settings

Set a language for each app
Want to use some apps in one language and other apps in another? You can now choose which language will be used for each app in Settings.

Set exceptions for Do not disturb
You can now set individual contacts as exceptions to Do not disturb. Your phone will ring or vibrate when the people you choose call and send messages to you, even when Do not disturb is on. It’s also easier to set apps as exceptions so you get notification alerts from them even when Do not disturb is on. Just choose the apps you want to allow from the new grid.

Improved sound and vibration settings
Menus have been reorganized to make it easier to find the sound and vibration options you need. Set your ringtone and change the volume and vibration settings, all in the same place.

Auto optimization
Device care keeps your phone running smoothly by automatically performing optimizations in the background. To keep your phone in the best condition, you can set your phone to automatically restart when needed.



Security and privacy

Check your phone’s security status at a glance
The new Security dashboard in Settings shows whether your phone has any security issues and helps you fix them quickly.

Security and privacy information for websites
An icon will appear in the address bar in Samsung Internet to show a site's security status. Tap the icon to learn which information the website collects and tracks.



Accessibility

More accessibility options in the quick panel
High contrast font, Color inversion, Color adjustment, and Color filter can be added to the quick panel for easier access.

Magnifier is easier to access
Turn on the Magnifier shortcut in Accessibility settings to get quick access to the Magnifier feature. Magnifier uses your phone's camera to enlarge items in the real world so you can take a closer look or make them easier to read.

More spoken assistance
Choose from various types of voice feedback to get help using your phone even if you can't see the screen clearly. You can make your phone read out keyboard input so you can be sure you typed the correct letter, use Bixby Vision to recognize nearby objects and tell you what they are, and turn on audio descriptions that explain what's happening in a video (only for supported videos).

Easily edit your Accessibility button
Tap and hold the Accessibility button to quickly change the features you can access using the button.

New actions available for Corner actions
If you're using a mouse or trackpad, new actions are available when you move the mouse pointer to one of the 4 corners of the screen. You can now click and hold, drag, or drag and drop.



Additional changes

Use several timers at once
You can now start a new timer in the Clock app even if another timer is still running.

More control over calendar event invitees
When you add an event to your Google calendar in the Samsung Calendar app, you can choose whether invitees are allowed to see who else is invited to the event and also choose whether they can invite other people.

Add video conferences to your events
When you create a Google calendar event in the Samsung Calendar app, you can set up a video conference at the same time. Everyone invited to your event will receive the link to the video conference.

Add stickers to your Google calendar
Add stickers to Google calendar events in the Samsung Calendar app to make them easy to see at a glance. Stickers are shown in both calendar and agenda views.

Stay on top of reminders due today
The new Today category shows only reminders due today. You can also check reminders due today at the top of the main screen in the Reminder app.

Show and hide completed reminders
You can show or hide the completed reminders in any category. Show to see what you've already done, or hide to stay focused on things you still need to finish.

Choose the right view for your reminders
Choose the simple view to show more reminders on the screen at once or an expanded view that includes details such as the due date and repeating conditions.

Keep your Samsung Internet bookmarks organized by dragging and dropping them between folders.

More powerful search in My Files
Choose whether to search all files or only files in the current folder. You can also choose between searching only file names or searching information inside of files, such as text in documents or location information in images. Multitasken

Uw weergave met één gebaar overschakelen
Schakel tussen volledig scherm en gesplitst scherm door omhoog te vegen met twee vingers van de onderkant van het scherm. Schakel tussen volledig scherm en pop-upscherm door naar binnen te vegen met één vinger vanuit een van de hoeken aan de bovenkant van het scherm. Gebaren kunnen in de instellingen worden in- of uitgeschakeld.

Snel apps openen in gesplitst scherm
Versleep een app van het Recent-scherm naar de kant van het scherm waar u deze wilt openen.



Verbonden apparaten


Meer doen met uw verbonden apparaten
Het menu Verbonden apparaten is toegevoegd aan Instellingen, waardoor u sneller en gemakkelijker toegang krijgt tot functies die werken met andere apparaten, zoals Quick Share en Smart View.
Meldingen op uw tv verbergen
Wanneer u inhoud van uw telefoon op uw tv met Smart View bekijkt, kunt u ervoor kiezen om meldingen op uw tv te verbergen om te voorkomen dat anderen uw persoonlijke informatie zien.



Camera en Galerij

Gemakkelijker zoomen met één hand
De zoombalk is verkleind, zodat u met één veegbeweging verder kunt in- of uitzoomen.

Ondersteuning voor de PRO-stand
In de PRO- en PRO video-stand verschijnt een help-pictogram. Tik op het pictogram voor tips en begeleiding bij het gebruik van de verschillende lenzen, opties en bedieningselementen.

Watermerken toevoegen aan uw foto's
Voeg automatisch een watermerk toe aan elke foto met de datum en tijd waarop een foto is genomen, de modelnaam van uw telefoon of andere aangepaste informatie.

Vernieuwde Single take
De single take-stand is vereenvoudigd en gestroomlijnd. Minder opties en kortere opnametijden maken het sneller en gemakkelijker om geweldige opnamen te maken.

Eenvoudiger filters kiezen
Het filterselectiemenu is gestroomlijnd in Camera, Foto-editor en Video-editor. Alle filters zijn beschikbaar in één lijst, waardoor het eenvoudiger is om de perfecte filter voor uw foto of video te vinden.

Albums in de Galerij aanpassen
Kies welke albums standaard verschijnen en verberg minder vaak gebruikte albums om een warboel te beperken. U kunt albums met dezelfde naam ook samenvoegen en albums maken die automatisch worden bijgewerkt om foto's van mensen die u selecteert toe te voegen.

Volledig nieuwe uitstraling voor Verhalen

Stickers maken van iedere foto
Maak herbruikbare stickers van elke foto in uw Galerij. U hoeft alleen maar het deel van de foto dat u als sticker wilt gebruiken te selecteren, en vervolgens de dikte en de kleur van de contouren aan te passen.

Meer manieren om GIF's te bewerken
U kunt geanimeerde GIF's bijsnijden en de verhouding ervan aanpassen om ze de juiste formaat te geven. Daarnaast kunt u dezelfde bewerkingsfuncties gebruiken die beschikbaar zijn voor afbeeldingen om uw GIF te versieren zoals u dat wilt.

Staande stand-effecten zelfs na bewerken behouden
De staande stand-effecten blijven nu behouden, zelfs na bijsnijden of het wijzigen van filters, zodat u de achtergrondvervagingseffecten op elk moment kunt aanpassen.

Perfecte vormen op foto's en video's tekenen
Gebruik de pen-tool om een vorm, zoals een cirkel, driehoek, rechthoek of hart te tekenen. Houd uw vinger op het scherm wanneer u klaar bent met tekenen om het direct te transformeren naar rechte lijnen en perfecte hoeken.

Gebruik transparante achtergronden voor AR Emoji-stickers, of kies een foto uit uw Galerij om te gebruiken als achtergrond voor uw emoji's in AR Emoji Camera. U kunt ook twee emoji's aan elkaar koppelen en leuke dansjes en poses maken.



Samsung Toetsenbord

Selecteer tekst met Samsung Toetsenbord, Internet, Galerij of wanneer u een screenshot maakt. Plak het resultaat in een bericht, e-mail of document, in plaats van het zelf te moeten invoeren.

Suggesties op basis van tekst in afbeeldingen
Zodra tekst verschijnt in een afbeelding in de Galerij, Camera of andere apps, worden acties aanbevolen op basis van de tekst. Als u bijvoorbeeld een foto maakt van een bord met een telefoonnummer of webadres, kunt u op het nummer tikken om het te bellen of de site te bezoeken.
Tekstextractie en suggestiefuncties worden alleen ondersteund voor Engels, Koreaans, Frans, Italiaans, Duits, Spaans, Portugees en Chinees.



Meldingen

Alleen de meldingen die u toestaat ontvangen
Als u een app voor het eerst gebruikt, wordt u gevraagd of u er meldingen van wilt ontvangen. U kunt meldingen weigeren van alle apps waardoor u niet gestoord wilt worden.

Gemakkelijker toegang tot app-meldingen
Stuurt een app u te veel meldingen? Het is gemakkelijker dan ooit om dit te blokkeren met gereorganiseerde meldinginstellingen die app-meldingen bovenaan plaatsen. U kunt ook rechtstreeks naar de meldinginstellingen van de app gaan met de knop onderaan het meldingenvenster.

Kiezen welke soorten meldingen apps kunnen versturen
U kunt nu afzonderlijk bepalen of apps pop-upmeldingen, badges met app-pictogrammen en meldingen op het vergrendelscherm mogen weergeven. Sta alle, sommige of geen soorten toe. De keuze is aan u.

Nieuwe lay-out voor meldingen
App-pictogrammen zijn groter, zodat u gemakkelijker kunt zien welke app de melding heeft verstuurd. De tekstuitlijning is ook verbeterd om meldingen beter leesbaar te maken.

Uitzonderingen instellen voor Niet storen
U kunt nu individuele contacten instellen als uitzondering op Niet storen. Uw telefoon gaat over of trilt wanneer de mensen die u kiest u bellen en berichten sturen, zelfs als Niet storen is ingeschakeld. Het is ook gemakkelijker om apps in te stellen als uitzonderingen, zodat u er meldingen van krijgt, zelfs als Niet storen is ingeschakeld. Kies gewoon de apps die u wilt toestaan uit het nieuwe raster.

Verbeterde instellingen voor geluiden en trillen
De menu's zijn gereorganiseerd, zodat u gemakkelijker de opties voor geluiden en trillen die u nodig hebt kunt vinden. Stel uw beltoon in en verander de instellingen voor volume en trillen, allemaal op dezelfde plaats.

Het nieuwe beveiligingsdashboard in Instellingen laat zien of uw telefoon beveiligingsproblemen heeft en helpt u deze snel op te lossen.

In de adresbalk van Samsung Internet verschijnt een pictogram dat de beveiligingsstatus van een site aangeeft. Tik op het pictogram om te zien welke informatie de website verzamelt en volgt.



Toegankelijkheid

Meer toegankelijkheidsopties in het quick panel
Lettertype met hoog contrast, Kleurinversie, Kleuraanpassing en Kleurenfilter kunnen worden toegevoegd aan het quick panel zodat u ze gemakkelijker kunt gebruiken.

Het Vergrootglas is gemakkelijker toegankelijk
Schakel de snelkoppeling Vergrootglas in de Toegankelijkheidsinstellingen in om snelle toegang te krijgen tot de functie Vergrootglas. Het Vergrootglas gebruikt de camera van uw telefoon om voorwerpen in de echte wereld te vergroten, zodat u ze beter kunt bekijken of beter kunt lezen.

Meer gesproken ondersteuning
Kies uit verschillende soorten gesproken feedback om ondersteuning te krijgen bij het gebruik van uw telefoon, zelfs als u het scherm niet goed kunt zien. Choose modes based on your activity
Choose a mode based on what you're doing, such as exercising, working, or relaxing, then choose what you want your phone to do in each situation. For example, turn on Do not disturb when you're relaxing or play music when you're driving.

Bedtime mode is now Sleep mode
Sleep mode lets you automate more actions when it's time for bed, like turning on Dark mode and changing the sound mode.

Easier to discover preset routines
A simplified layout makes it easier to find routines that are useful for you.

Check running routines quickly
Routines that are currently running are now shown at the top of the Routines screen so you can understand what's happening and make changes if necessary.

Home screen widgets

Stack widgets on your Home screen
Combine several widgets of the same size into a single widget to save space on your Home screen. Just drag a widget onto another widget to create a stack, then swipe to switch between widgets. You can add more widgets to your stack at any time by dragging and dropping.

Get suggestions on your Home screen
The new Smart suggestions widget knows what you need before you do. It suggests apps to use, people to call, and other useful tips. Suggestions are based on your usage patterns.



Multitasking

Switch your view with a gesture
Switch from full screen to split screen view by swiping upward with two fingers from the bottom of the screen. Switch from full screen to pop-up view by swiping inward with one finger from either corner at the top of the screen. Gestures can be turned on or off in Settings Labs.

Quickly open apps in split screen
Just drag an app from the Recents screen to the side of the screen where you want to open it.

The Connected devices menu has been added to Settings, making it quicker and easier to access features that work with other devices, like Quick Share, and Smart View.

Customize albums in Gallery
Choose which albums appear by default and hide less frequently used albums to keep the clutter down. You can also merge albums that have the same name and create albums that automatically update to include pictures of people you select.

All-new look for Stories
Stories that are automatically created in your Gallery have been revamped with an interactive slideshow view. Just tap or swipe to move between pictures and videos in your story.



Photo and Video Editor

Create stickers from any picture
Create reusable stickers from any picture in your gallery. Just select the part of the picture you want to use as a sticker, then adjust the thickness and color of the outlines.

More ways to edit GIFs
You can trim and adjust the ratio of animated GIFs to make them the right size. You can also use the same editing features that are available for still images to decorate your GIF however you like.

Keep portrait mode effects even after editing
Portrait mode effects are now retained even after cropping or changing filters so you can adjust the background blur at any time.

Draw perfect shapes on pictures and videos
Use the pen tool to draw a shape such as a circle, triangle, rectangle, or heart. Hold your finger on the screen when you finish drawing to make it instantly transform to straight lines and perfect angles.

New stickers for photos and videos
60 new preloaded emoji stickers are available for decorating your pictures and videos.



AR Emoji and stickers

New AR Emoji stickers
When you create a new AR Emoji, 15 stickers are created by default giving you more ways to express yourself. If that’s not enough, there are also more AR Emoji stickers available for download so you can always find a sticker to match your emotions.

Do more with AR Emojis
Use transparent backgrounds for AR Emoji stickers, or choose any picture from your Gallery to use as a background for your emoji in AR Emoji Camera. You can also pair up two emojis together and create fun dances and poses.



Samsung Keyboard

New emojis available for emoji pairs
In Samsung Keyboard, more than 80 additional emojis are available for creating an emoji pair. You can now combine emojis based on animals, food, and other objects in addition to facial expressions. Choose the perfect combination to get your feelings across.

Extract and scan text

Extract text from any image or screen
Extract text using Samsung Keyboard, Internet, Gallery, or whenever you take a screenshot. Paste the result into a message, email, or document instead of typing.

Get suggestions based on text in images
When text appears in an image in Gallery, Camera, or other apps, actions will be recommended based on the text. For example, if you take a picture of a sign with a phone number or web address on it, you can tap to call the number or visit the site.
Text extraction and suggestion features are only supported for English, Korean, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, and Chinese.



Notifications

Get only the notifications you allow
When you use an app for the first time, you’ll be asked whether you want to receive notifications from it. Feel free to say no to apps that you don’t want to disturb you.

Easier access to app notification controls
Is an app sending you too many notifications? It's easier than ever to block it with reorganized notification settings placing app notification controls at the top. You can also go directly to app notification settings using the button at the bottom of the notification panel.

Choose which types of notifications apps can send
You now have separate control over whether apps can show pop-up notifications, app icon badges, and notifications on the Lock screen. Allow all types, some, or none. It's up to you.

New layout for notifications
App icons are larger, making it easier to see which app sent the notification. Text alignment has also been improved to make notifications easier to read.



Settings

Set a language for each app
Want to use some apps in one language and other apps in another? You can now choose which language will be used for each app in Settings.

Set exceptions for Do not disturb
You can now set individual contacts as exceptions to Do not disturb. Your phone will ring or vibrate when the people you choose call and send messages to you, even when Do not disturb is on. It’s also easier to set apps as exceptions so you get notification alerts from them even when Do not disturb is on. Just choose the apps you want to allow from the new grid.

Improved sound and vibration settings
Menus have been reorganized to make it easier to find the sound and vibration options you need. Set your ringtone and change the volume and vibration settings, all in the same place.

Auto optimization
Device care keeps your phone running smoothly by automatically performing optimizations in the background. To keep your phone in the best condition, you can set your phone to automatically restart when needed.



Security and privacy

Check your phone’s security status at a glance
The new Security dashboard in Settings shows whether your phone has any security issues and helps you fix them quickly.

Security and privacy information for websites
An icon will appear in the address bar in Samsung Internet to show a site's security status. Tap the icon to learn which information the website collects and tracks.



Accessibility

More accessibility options in the quick panel
High contrast font, Color inversion, Color adjustment, and Color filter can be added to the quick panel for easier access.

Magnifier is easier to access
Turn on the Magnifier shortcut in Accessibility settings to get quick access to the Magnifier feature. Magnifier uses your phone's camera to enlarge items in the real world so you can take a closer look or make them easier to read.

More spoken assistance
Choose from various types of voice feedback to get help using your phone even if you can't see the screen clearly. You can make your phone read out keyboard input so you can be sure you typed the correct letter, use Bixby Vision to recognize nearby objects and tell you what they are, and turn on audio descriptions that explain what's happening in a video (only for supported videos).

Easily edit your Accessibility button
Tap and hold the Accessibility button to quickly change the features you can access using the button.

New actions available for Corner actions
If you're using a mouse or trackpad, new actions are available when you move the mouse pointer to one of the 4 corners of the screen. You can now click and hold, drag, or drag and drop.



Additional changes

Use several timers at once
You can now start a new timer in the Clock app even if another timer is still running.

More control over calendar event invitees
When you add an event to your Google calendar in the Samsung Calendar app, you can choose whether invitees are allowed to see who else is invited to the event and also choose whether they can invite other people.

Add video conferences to your events
When you create a Google calendar event in the Samsung Calendar app, you can set up a video conference at the same time. Everyone invited to your event will receive the link to the video conference.

Add stickers to your Google calendar
Add stickers to Google calendar events in the Samsung Calendar app to make them easy to see at a glance. Stickers are shown in both calendar and agenda views.

Stay on top of reminders due today
The new Today category shows only reminders due today. You can also check reminders due today at the top of the main screen in the Reminder app.

You can show or hide the completed reminders in any category. Show to see what you've already done, or hide to stay focused on things you still need to finish.

Choose the right view for your reminders

Keep your Samsung Internet bookmarks organized by dragging and dropping them between folders.

More powerful search in My Files
Choose whether to search all files or only files in the current folder. You can also choose between searching only file names or searching information inside of files, such as text in documents or location information in images. When your search is complete, you can sort the results by name, date, size, or file type.

Maak video’s met time-lapse

Tijdens een video-oproep op uw telefoon kunt u op uw tablet in presentatiemodus deelnemen aan dezelfde video-oproep. Het scherm van uw tablet zal met andere deelnemers worden gedeeld, terwijl audio en video op uw telefoon doorgaan.

Kleurenpalet
Pas uw telefoon aan met unieke kleuren op basis van uw achtergrond. Uw aangepaste kleurenpalet is nu zichtbaar in meer apps, inclusief apps van Google.
Slimme suggesties
Uw Galaxy is nu een stuk slimmer geworden. Als u begint met het toevoegen van een gebeurtenis aan uw kalender, zal uw apparaat een titel en tijd suggereren op basis van tekstberichten en andere activiteit op uw telefoon. U krijgt vergelijkbare suggesties in Agenda, Reminder, Toetsenbord, Berichten en andere apps.
Schaduwen en reflecties corrigeren in Foto-editor
Schaduwen en reflecties worden automatisch verwijderd als u de Gum voor object gebruikt.

Naast stickers kunt u nu emoji’s toevoegen aan een datum in uw agenda om op die manier uw gevoelens uit te drukken.
Maak snel een notitie terwijl u aan het browsen bent
Zorg dat u altijd weet wat uw bronnen zijn met nieuwe knipopties voor Samsung Notes. U kunt inhoud van Samsung Internet of Galerij toevoegen als u een notitie maakt met het quick panel of het Taak-edge-venster.
Kies apps voor tekstcorrectie in Samsung Toetsenbord
Kies in welke apps u automatisch tekstcorrecties wilt krijgen. Schakel dit in voor apps waarin u schrijft om te zorgen dat uw spelling en grammatica kloppen en schakel het uit voor berichtenapps waarin u minder formeel wilt zijn.
Pas uw geluidsbalans aan
In de instellingen voor Toegankelijkheid kunt u de links/rechts geluidsbalans aanpassen voor verbonden apparaten, zoals luidsprekers en hoofdtelefoons, afzonderlijk van de geluidsbalans voor de luidsprekers van uw telefoon. Dit biedt u de mogelijkheid om de perfecte balans uit uw hoofdtelefoon te halen zonder dat het invloed heeft op het geluid van uw beltoon en luidsprekers.

One UI 3 is designed to help you focus on what matters. Our visual redesign has improved the places you visit the most, like the Home screen and quick panel, to reduce distractions, highlight important information, and make your experience more consistent. Performance improvements will help apps run quicker while using less battery power. And One UI 3 puts control in your hands with new privacy controls, one-time permissions, and enhanced Digital Wellbeing.

Visual design

We’ve refreshed the look and feel of One UI 3 in lots of ways, big and small, from new, more consistent icons to smarter organization of the quick panel and notifications. Motion is smoother and more natural than ever, with improved animations and haptic feedback for common interactions. And the interface responds to different screen sizes to provide the best experience on any device, whether it’s a phone, foldable, or tablet.



Improved performance

We optimized One UI 3 with enhanced dynamic memory allocation, so apps run faster and perform better. We’ve also restricted background activities to provide better performance and power usage.



Better customization

• New image categories have been added to Dynamic Lock screen, and you can select up to 5 categories at once.

• On the Lock screen, you can add a widget to check your usage time.

• Get an interactive preview when setting a wallpaper.

• Adjusting the Always On Display and Lock screen is easier.

• Add a call background to see a picture or video when you make or receive a call.

Enhanced features

Home screen and Lock screen

• Add widgets by touching and holding an app on the Home screen.

• Turn off the screen by double tapping on an empty space on the Home or Lock screen. (Set it up in Settings > Advanced features > Motions and gestures.)

• On the Lock screen, tap the clock area to see widgets like calendar, weather, and music.



Calls and chats

• See conversations separately in the notification panel. Works with Messages and your favorite chat apps.

• Easily remove duplicate contacts stored in the same account in Contacts. The storage period for deleted contacts has been extended from 15 days to 30 days.

• Added the ability to edit multiple linked contacts from a single screen.

• Added Trash in Messages so that recently deleted messages are stored for 30 days.



Pictures and videos

• Take pictures quicker with improved auto focus and auto exposure.

• View, edit, and share pictures and videos more easily from Gallery.

• Find pictures and videos quicker with new search features and categories in Gallery.

• Revert edited pictures to their original versions at any time, even after they’re saved, so you never lose a shot.



Settings

• Settings has a new simpler look and feel. Your Samsung account is shown at the top, and Home screen settings are now easier to access.

• Find the settings you need more easily with new Search features. You’ll get better results for synonyms and common misspellings, and you can tap on tags to see groups of related settings.

• Quick settings buttons have been reduced to provide only the most commonly used features. You can also add buttons to create your own customized quick panel.



Samsung Keyboard

• Increased the number of input languages to 370.

• Made it easier to paste copied images and verification codes from text messages.

• Added emoji and sticker suggestions when you enter a text-based emoticon.

• Improved the keyboard layout to provide a larger space bar when entering web and email addresses.

• Reorganized Keyboard settings so it's easier to access frequently used settings.



Productivity

Maintain a healthy balance between work and life by minimizing repetitive and complicated tasks and handling them efficiently.

• New routines will be recommended based on your daily life and usage patterns.

• Bixby Routines provide a setting to return everything to the way it was before the routine ran.

• In Internet, you can hide the status and navigation bars for a more immersive experience and quickly translate webpages.

• You’ll be prompted to block websites that send too many pop-ups or notifications.

• You can browse and select cloud drive files from the file selection screen in My Files.

• You can now delete cache files in My Files to easily free up storage space.

• Events with the same start time are displayed together in the month and list views in Calendar.

Media and device control is easier with the improved media panel in notifications. You can see recently used media apps and quickly change the playback device. You can also check Android Auto settings in the Advanced features menu in Settings.

Improved Digital Wellbeing features make it easy to check how you're using your phone or tablet and help you form good digital habits. Check your usage while driving or see weekly changes in your screen time by function at a glance through upgraded weekly reports.



Accessibility for everyone

One UI 3 recommends useful accessibility features for you based on your usage. The improved Accessibility shortcut makes accessibility features easier to start and use. You can use the Speak keyboard input aloud feature to get voice feedback of your typing even when TalkBack is turned off.



Stronger privacy protection

You can now let an app access to your microphone, camera, or location just one time. Any permissions that an app hasn’t used in a while will be automatically revoked. You can no longer give apps permission to always see your location in the regular permission popup. To let apps access your location when they’re not in use, you need to go to the location permission page for the app in Settings.



Additional improvements

• In Clock, you can hear the time and preset name of the alarm read aloud when an alarm rings.



Some apps will need to be updated separately after the One UI 3 update.



App copies made using Dual messenger can no longer access SD card files directly. To share SD card files in an app copy, select the files in Gallery or My Files, tap Share, then select the app copy.



You can no longer use Wi-Fi Direct to send files to other devices. You can use Nearby Share instead. You can still receive files using Wi-Fi Direct.



You can no longer connect to Chromecast using Smart View. You can use Google Home instead.

Enable 5G NR stand alone new technology.

Wi-Fi
- If quality information on nearby Wi-Fi routers can be measured, this information will appear as  Very Fast, Fast, Normal, or Slow.
  * This feature can be turned on or off in "Network Quality Information Display" settings.
- When attempting to access a Wi-Fi router with a password, a newly added feature now allows the user to request the password of the Wi-Fi router from someone nearby who is saved in their contact list and has already connected to that router.
  * The "Request Password" button will appear on the Wi-Fi password input screen when you can request a password.

Always On Display
- Bitmoji Stickers are supported on Always On Display. (Clock style)

Samsung keyboard
- A new feature has been added to the keyboard search feature that allows the user to search YouTube.
- Split Keyboard is supported on Landscape mode.
- The search function of the "Manage Input Languages" screen in the Keyboard Settings page has been newly updated to make it easy to find keyboard input languages that the user wishes to add or delete.

Camera
- Enhanced camera features. : AR Doodle, AR Emoji, Scene optimizer, Smart Scan
- Improved the quality and stability of the camera.

Messages
- A feature has been added that allows the user to call a person who is saved as a pre-configured SOS message contact.
- A feature has been added that allows the user to send SOS location-sharing messages every 30 minutes for 24 hours.
