Samsung Odyssey Ark features in UK’s First Gaming Suite
LONDON, UK – 29 November 2022: Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. have collaborated with luxury London hotel W London to launch the UK’s first ever Gaming Suite, bookable until April 2023. The personalised gaming suite saw YouTube sensation Vikkstar123 kick-off the opening with a live stream of highly awaited Warzone 2.0 on Wednesday 16th November.
Featuring Samsung’s Odyssey Ark – the world’s first 55-inch 1000R curved gaming screen – W London’s WOW Suite has been transformed into a gamer’s paradise, priced at £1,500 per night. The Odyssey Ark display delivers a 165Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time (GtG1) plus an all-new Cockpit Mode and an exclusive controller, the Ark Dial – offering the ultimate window into the world of gaming with unparalleled immersion.
As guests step into the futuristic suite, they will immediately absorb the set-up of the Samsung gaming monitor, for the most cinematic and hands on experience. Gamers can expect to play on one of the world’s leading consoles, Xbox Series X, and CyberPower PC on a Secretlab MAGNUS Metal Desk, played in the assured comfort of Secretlab TITAN Evo 2022 chair, designed for support and unrivalled performance, with Hyper X supplying all the necessary peripherals.
As gamers progress through levels, and combat across the battlefield, so too will appetites increase. W London has created a designated ‘brain food’ menu available to order through in-room technology to the suite, set to fuel all competitive needs. The menu will see the likes of Chicken or Tofu baos, partnering with DIRTEA (the pure and potent functional mushroom extract) to create DIRTEA Sliders, and high-energy protein balls.
The gaming suite can be booked for an overnight stay package, with in-room dining and personalised touches.
