Samsung Electronics Launches Newsroom in Japan

Samsung Electronics today announced the launch of Samsung Newsroom Japan, an official Japanese-language media channel providing the latest information on Samsung for local media and consumers.

Since establishing its Japanese subsidiary in October 2008, Samsung has expanded its business offerings in Japan to include the Galaxy series, wearable devices and network solutions including 5G base stations. Moving forward, the company aims to lead the digital era by creating innovative new products while meeting the needs of Japanese customers.

“We are pleased to launch Samsung Newsroom Japan at a time when local media and consumers are highly interested in Samsung products and the company’s activities within Japan and around the world,” said Kenichi Kobayashi, CMO of Samsung Electronics Japan. “Now, we can promptly provide the latest news, product information and media assets to anyone interested in Samsung’s innovative technologies.”

Samsung Newsroom Japan is the company’s 47th newsroom to date — joining Samsung Global Newsroom and local editions in the United States, Brazil, France, India, South Africa and Vietnam, among others.
